In Person Course Length:
Participants will learn to recognize and respond to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The program teaches participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Course is designed to meet the needs of a diverse population.
Certification Requirements:
Participants must complete all lessons of the online learning session and pass the online assessment with a score of at least 80%. Participants MUST complete the online prior to class. Please bring a hard copy or smartphone to show your completion. Participants must attend the in person session and participate in all course activities. Successfully complete the “Putting It All Together” Assessment Scenarios.
If you are a parent purchasing a ticket for your teenager and or minor you must purchase the ticket with their name and their email address. The certificates have to have the correct name of the student and email address. If you are signing up a minor you need to notify us and walk them into class/introduce them to the instructor.
