Red Cross Adult/Pediatric CPR, First Aid, AED Blended Learning Course

Prerequisites 

1. 2.5 Hours of Online Blended Learning prior to coming to class. 

In Person Course Length: 

• 2.15 hours in person 

Class Purpose: 

Participants will learn to recognize and respond to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The program teaches participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Course is designed to meet the needs of a diverse population. 

Certification Requirements:

Participants must complete all lessons of the online learning session and pass the online assessment with a score of at least 80%. Participants MUST complete the online prior to class. Please bring a hard copy or smartphone to show your completion. Participants must attend the in person session and participate in all course activities. Successfully complete the “Putting It All Together” Assessment Scenarios.

If you are a parent purchasing a ticket for your teenager and or minor you must purchase the ticket with their name and their email address. The certificates have to have the correct name of the student and email address. If you are signing up a minor you need to notify us and walk them into class/introduce them to the instructor. 

Certificate Issued: 

• First Aid/CPR/AED certification valid for 2 years.  Your American Red Cross CPR Certification will be sent to your sign-up email account. 

In-Class Policies: 

1. Arrive 15 – 20 minutes before the start of the scheduled class. You will need to check in and provide proof of completing the online learning. If you don’t have the certificate of completion with you, we will need to reschedule you for another class. A $25.00 rescheduling fee will apply.
2. Students that are late will not be permitted into class.  Our classes cover a large amount of material, and we need the full time allotted for all students. Please be respectful of the other students’ learning.
3. If you don’t have the certificate of completion with you, we will need to reschedule you to another class for a $25 fee. If you are sick or unable to make class last minute, A $25.00 rescheduling fee will still apply.

Refunds

• Refunds up to 7 days prior to class are acceptable however there is a 3% credit card fee that will be deducted. 
• No refunds are given within 7 days of class. However, we will transfer you to a future class within 2 months of your original class date.
